Data Action (DA) is a specialist software and services provider to the alternate banking and financial services industry. Operating nationally with staff based in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, DA services a broad client base including mutual banks, credit unions, neobanks and financial services membership organisations.
Chamonix has previously worked with DA to provide an industry-standard API implementation, using a modern cloud environment to facilitate enhanced loan origination operations.
The full integration implementation was done in partnership with DA’s internal team and existing DevOps process, with continuous integration to a cloud environment.
This project created compatibility that means loan origination systems no longer need to be extended to cater for custom bespoke integrations, thus allowing them to leverage a common, industry-standard approach. Integration is now easier between DA’s core offerings and customer loan origination systems and has been enabled through this use of industry standards.
As part of DA’s larger API transformation project, Chamonix was engaged to help the organisation uplift their technology and processes from on-premise to cloud, and streamline via CI/CD and DevOps.
Our solution involved migrating the current on-premise APIs and WebServices to modern cloud implementations including code base migration, identity management and aligning with mandated and industry security requirements. In parallel, Chamonix is also assisting in the review and improvement of DA’s DevOps process.
The Chamonix team has supported this transformation across the board – from advisory, application-level security, Lambdas and deployment through to managed support – to help the organisation increase their overall capability, make better business-based decisions and reduce DA’s clients’ need to support bespoke integrations via one secure channel.
